Before you write
- No sound? Check the device is not on silent, and that the volume is up — Casaluz plays its own recordings and respects the system volume.
- Want the English word to show or hide? Open Para adultos · Grown-ups and change how much Spanish your child hears at home. That setting controls the English under the picture.
- Games missing or too hard? The age you entered opens and closes levels. You can tick any level on by hand in Para adultos · Grown-ups.
- Starting over? Grown-ups has an option to erase all stars and progress. It cannot be undone, and it only affects that device.
Reporting a word or a picture
Casaluz teaches Latin American Spanish, so some words differ from the Spanish of Spain on purpose — carro not coche, papa not patata, jugo not zumo. If something still looks wrong for your region, tell us the word and where you are; regional corrections are welcome and we do act on them.
Privacy questions
Casaluz collects nothing — no account, no analytics, no server. The full detail is on the privacy page. If you have a question it does not answer, write to us.
Accessibility
If something in Casaluz is hard for your child to use — size, contrast, motion, timing — we would genuinely like to know. Several things in the app exist because a parent wrote in.
